Yakima Anderson serves as the Administrative Assistant at Triumph Educational Center, supporting daily operations, client coordination, and program delivery to ensure effective community services. With more than 20 years of experience in higher education and the nonprofit sector, Yakima has built a career dedicated to empowering others through access, opportunity, and professional development.

She has previously served as Manager of Scholarships at the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, Director of Career Services at Savannah State University’s College of Business, and Career Experiences Coordinator at Texas State University. Throughout her career, she has led student-focused initiatives, chaired university committees, and created programs that connect students with career opportunities.

Yakima holds a Master’s degree in Education from Georgia Southern University and a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Savannah State University.

Yakima hopes to see the individuals Triumph Educational Center serves experience genuine transformation and lasting change. She’s passionate about helping people recognize their worth, break unhealthy cycles, and build stronger, more stable lives for themselves and their families.
